Unauthenticated patient data disclosure via prescription endpoints
Published Apr 27, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2025
Improper authorization in Wowjoy Internet Doctor Workstation System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read patient data via prescription APIs. The exposed workflow obtains a hospitalId without authentication, submits it to the prescription list endpoint for a prescriptionId, then passes that identifier to the details endpoint without an authorization check. No authenticated session is required, and successful requests disclose names, identity-card numbers, phone numbers, and medical-condition data.
