Database read and modification via unescaped empid
Published Apr 27, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul COVID19 Testing Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data. The add-phlebotomist.php handler passes the POST empid value into a MySQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling blind boolean and time-based payloads. No authentication is required, and the demonstrated requests operate within the database account's permissions.
