Local service interruption via leaked VMM arguments

Memory leak in the Linux kernel Nouveau NVIF VMM code allows local users to exhaust memory by supplying an invalid VMM type. The nvif_vmm_ctor function returns directly on an invalid nvif_vmm_type without freeing its allocated argument buffer. Low-privileged local access to the Nouveau VMM path is required; repeated invalid requests deplete memory and interrupt system availability.
