Kernel crash via qla4xxx error-pointer dereference

NULL pointer dereference in the qla4xxx SCSI driver allows local users to crash affected Linux kernels during endpoint setup. qla4xxx_get_ep_fwdb() forwards an error pointer returned by qla4xxx_ep_connect() to a caller that expects NULL, causing dereference of the encoded error value. Reachability is local and depends on the qla4xxx SCSI path; the reported consequence is a kernel Oops and service interruption, not data access or modification.
