CVE-2025-3967Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Article takeover and deletion via unchecked articleId

Published Apr 27, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2025

Improper authorization in PaiCoding 1.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to take over and delete another user's article. The /article/api/post handler trusts the submitted articleId when updating an article without confirming that the authenticated user owns the referenced record. A regular account can substitute another user's article ID, transferring the target article into the attacker's management and removing it from the prior owner.
