Unauthenticated administrative access via unchecked article-list request
Published Apr 27, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2025
Missing authorization in withstars Books-Management-System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access the administrative article list. The /admin/article/list handler serves the Background Interface without checking user permission when a GET request omits the session cookie. No authentication is required; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of the restricted article-management listing.
