Published Apr 27, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2025
Stored XSS in withstars Books-Management-System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through crafted article titles. The article-creation endpoint persists the Title parameter and later renders it in an article page without neutralizing embedded HTML or JavaScript. An authenticated administrative session is required to create the article, and the payload executes when another user opens it.
