Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped spoiler titles
Published Apr 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Asgaros Forum 3.2.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a crafted spoiler title. The spoiler-title rendering path stores contributor-supplied title text and outputs it without sufficient neutralization, allowing markup to execute when the saved forum content is viewed. Contributor-level access is required to plant the payload, and execution requires another user to open the affected forum content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
