Unauthenticated browser script execution
Published Jul 4, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2026
Reflected XSS in ValvePress Rankie 1.8.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a user's browser via a crafted request. Patchstack identifies reflected XSS but does not disclose the affected request parameter, page, function, or precise reflection operation. Exploitation requires no account but does require a user to follow the crafted link, after which the script runs within that user's browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
