Unauthenticated PHP execution via local file inclusion
Published May 19, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Local file inclusion in Indie Plugins WhatsApp Click to Chat Plugin for WordPress 2.2.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute PHP files. Public advisories do not identify the affected file, request parameter, or PHP include or require call that accepts the attacker-controlled path. No authentication is required, but Patchstack's CNA assessment requires user interaction and high attack complexity; execution depends on making a suitable file available for inclusion.
