CVE-2025-39401Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via avatar file upload

Published May 19, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2026

Unrestricted file upload in Mojoomla WPAMS 44.0 (17-08-2023) and earlier allows remote attackers to upload executable web shells. The public member-registration handler accepts the amgt_user_avatar multipart field, preserves its attacker-controlled PHP extension, and stores it under wp-content/uploads/apartment_assets. No authentication or user interaction is required; requesting the predictable timestamp-based upload path executes the shell and grants code execution on the server.
