Command execution via unneutralized CSV formulas
Published Aug 29, 2025 · Updated Aug 29, 2025
CSV injection in Hikvision HikCentral Master Lite 2.2.1 through 2.3.2 allows remote attackers to execute commands through exported CSV data. The CSV export path writes attacker-controlled values as spreadsheet formula elements without neutralizing executable prefixes. Execution requires a user to open the crafted CSV in spreadsheet software; Hikvision has not disclosed the affected export function.
