Authenticated file upload via missing type validation
Published Apr 26, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Aeropage Sync for Airtable 3.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to place files on the server. The aeropage_media_downloader function accepts attacker-influenced downloads without validating file types before saving them. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and successful placement of a server-executable file enables remote code execution.
