Authenticated denial of service via invalid HTTPS data
Published Jun 10, 2025 · Updated Jun 10, 2025
Improper input validation in Schneider Electric Modicon M262 before 5.3.9.18 allows remote authenticated users to cause a service interruption. The embedded webserver processes an HTTPS request containing an invalid data type without adequate validation; Schneider Electric has not identified the field or handler. Authentication to the controller webserver is required, and successful exploitation interrupts controller availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
