CVE-2025-3885

Service interruption via malformed Bluetooth frames

Published May 22, 2025 · Updated May 22, 2025

Improper input validation in Harman Becker MGU21_22-07 firmware allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt service via Bluetooth. The BCM89359 Bluetooth stack processes malformed frames without adequate validation, allowing crafted input to trigger a denial-of-service state. Bluetooth proximity is required, but authentication and user interaction are not; published evidence reports only loss of availability.
