Directory traversal in Cloudera Hue 4.11.0 allows remote attackers to read files accessible to the service account without authentication. The reported Ace Editor web application accepts a user-supplied path for file operations without first restricting it to an allowed directory. Cloudera disputes production exposure, stating that the implicated Ace fork is a developer-only tool excluded from production builds and runtime.
