Kernel-memory disclosure via unchecked SMB3 interface offset

Out-of-bounds read in the SMB3 client in Linux allows remote attackers to read kernel memory or crash clients via a crafted server reply. parse_server_interfaces() trusts the Next offset in an SMB2 network-interface response and advances beyond the duplicated response buffer without confirming that another complete entry remains. A malicious or compromised SMB server can trigger the read during mounting, multichannel polling, or reconnect, causing kernel-memory disclosure or a repeatable client kernel oops without target credentials.
