CVE-2025-3847Network attack vector

Unauthenticated SQL injection via interpolated login username

Published Apr 21, 2025 · Updated Apr 22, 2025

SQL injection in the Login component of Markparticle WebServer 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter database queries via crafted credentials. HttpRequest::UserVerify places the URL-decoded username directly inside a quoted SELECT statement passed to mysql_query without escaping or parameter binding. No authentication is required; the demonstrated reach is manipulation of the login query, while broader database effects are not publicly established.
