Kernel crash via unchecked hole-punch offset

Denial of service in Linux kernel 6.15 through 6.15.3 allows local users to crash the kernel through a crafted ext4 hole-punch request. In ext4_punch_hole(), a start offset beyond max_end produces a negative length passed to truncate_inode_partial_folio() while truncating the page cache. Local access and permission to modify a file on an ext4 filesystem are required; reaching the kernel BUG interrupts the host.
