System panic via stale t7xx netdev dereference
Published Jul 3, 2025 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Use-after-free in the Linux kernel t7xx WWAN driver allows remote attackers to panic systems through crafted cellular traffic. The RX NAPI poll dereferences a stale ccmni_inst entry after dellink releases its netdev, then passes the invalid device to napi_gro_receive while updating receive statistics. Exploitation requires an active t7xx cellular data path and concurrent user-plane teardown; the CNA also documents kernel-memory read and write effects.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
