System crash via stale restart state

NULL pointer dereference in the Linux kernel 6.14 through 6.15.2 iwlwifi MLD driver causes a crash after a firmware load error. An initialization retry leaves in_hw_restart set, so cleanup treats a first start as a restart and cancels the uninitialized rx_omi::finished_work item. The failure requires Intel wireless hardware and a firmware-loading error that cannot be invoked or influenced from userspace, so ordinary local users cannot deliberately trigger the crash.
