Unauthenticated stored XSS via unsanitized log parsing
Published Apr 19, 2025 · Updated Jul 25, 2026
Stored XSS in Bowo Debug Log Manager 2.3.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts through crafted debug.log entries. The auto-refresh parser renders attacker-controlled log content in the WordPress administration page without adequate sanitization or output escaping. No authentication is required to place the payload; script execution occurs when the affected log view displays or refreshes the malicious entry.
