Kernel compromise via reentrant classifier list insertion

Memory corruption in the ETS scheduler in Linux allows local users to read or write kernel memory or crash the host via crafted qdisc traffic. A reentrant enqueue from a netem child makes ETS add an already-linked class to active_list again, corrupting the doubly linked list. An unprivileged user can obtain the required CAP_NET_ADMIN inside a new user and network namespace; the resulting corruption can expose heap data, enable kernel-memory writes, panic the host, or stall transmission.
