Local kernel crash via unsafe SMA callbacks

NULL pointer dereference in affected Linux kernel builds allows local users to crash the kernel through Adva board SMA sysfs operations. The Adva SMA store and get paths invoke generic output or input handlers that pass uninitialized irig and dcf pointers into __handle_signal, which dereferences them. Exploitation requires local access to a system using the ptp_ocp driver with supported Adva timing hardware, and the reported consequence is a kernel crash.
