CVE-2025-3791Public exploit

Local heap over-read in jx9MemObjStore

Published Apr 18, 2025 · Updated Apr 18, 2025

Heap buffer over-read in UnQLite at commit 957c377cb691a4f617db9aba5cc46d90425071e2 allows local users to trigger an out-of-bounds read. When the Jx9 VM processes the reproducer script, jx9MemObjStore dereferences an operand 36 bytes before its heap allocation and performs a four-byte read. Exploitation requires local execution with attacker-controlled Jx9 input; the demonstrated consequence is process termination under AddressSanitizer, while further effects remain undisclosed.
