Kernel crash via malformed ext4 dot entry

Out-of-bounds read in Linux ext4 and Siemens MFP firmware allows local users to crash the kernel via a corrupted filesystem. ext4_empty_dir uses a full-block rec_len for the dot entry to place the dot-dot pointer exactly past the data block, then ext4_check_dir_entry dereferences it. Reaching the fault requires local access to mount the crafted filesystem and later remove the corrupted directory; the published Siemens impact is limited to service interruption.
