Local kernel crash via NULL perout request

NULL pointer dereference in the Linux kernel TI ICSS IEP driver allows local users to crash the kernel while disabling perout signaling. During icss_iep_exit(), the driver passes a NULL ptp_perout_request to icss_iep_perout_enable(), whose hardware path dereferences the absent request instead of only clearing state. Reachability requires low-privileged local access, an ICSSG device using the affected driver, and PPS or periodic-output teardown; confidentiality and integrity are not affected.
