Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted callable dispatch
Published Apr 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Code injection in cajka Verification SMS with TargetSMS 1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute callable PHP functions. The unauthenticated targetvr_ajax_handler in inc/ajax.php accepts a caller-controlled function choice and dispatches it without restricting the callable type. Any network client that can reach the WordPress AJAX endpoint can invoke available PHP functions, exposing site data or changing and interrupting server behavior.
