Stored XSS via unescaped forwarded IP header
Published Jun 17, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Wise Chat 3.3.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through a crafted X-Forwarded-For header. The WiseChatKicksTab administration view prints the stored forwarded IP value without sanitizing the header or escaping the HTML output. No authentication is required to submit the header, but the payload executes when a user accesses the affected administration page.
