Traffic interception via omitted TLS hostname verification

Improper certificate validation in Elastic Logstash before 8.17.6, 8.18.0, and 9.0.0 allows remote attackers to intercept TCP output traffic. In client mode, the TCP output plugin completes TLS without calling SSLSocket.post_connection_check for the configured host even when ssl_verification_mode is full. An attacker positioned between Logstash and its TCP destination can read or alter transmitted data; the affected full-verification setting is the default.
