CVE-2025-37729Network attack vector

Admin command execution via Jinjava plan injection

Published Oct 13, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Template injection in Elastic Cloud Enterprise 2.5.0 through 3.8.1 and 4.0.0 through 4.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The plan-submission path evaluates specially crafted Jinjava variables as code and exposes command results through ingested logs. Exploitation requires ECE admin-console access and a deployment with Logging+Metrics enabled, allowing sensitive-data exfiltration and command execution.
