Stored script execution via radio-button custom fields
Published Apr 17, 2025 · Updated Sep 4, 2025
Stored XSS in radio-button custom fields in Liferay Portal and DXP allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript into pages. The vendor identifies the affected field type but has not published the rendering locus or the missing neutralization operation. Exploitation requires high-privilege access to store the field value and a separate user to view the affected page, enabling script execution in that user's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
