Unauthenticated order manipulation via trusted cart fields
Published Apr 25, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Order manipulation in WP Swings Upsell Funnel Builder for WooCommerce 3.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter cart bump items. The add_offer_in_cart function processes client-controlled additional product and discount fields as trusted order-bump values, allowing both fields to override the configured offer. A reachable checkout with a configured order bump is required; exploitation can substitute another product and apply an attacker-chosen discount in the cart.
