Buffer overflow in the Login function in SourceCodester Simple Hotel Booking System 1.0 allows local users to corrupt process memory. The function reads the uname value with an unbounded scanf operation into a 10-byte character buffer, allowing longer input to overwrite adjacent memory. The published reproduction requires local access and disables compiler stack protection; it demonstrates an overwrite but not code execution.
