CVE-2025-37164Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via exposed REST command endpoint

Published Dec 16, 2025 · Updated Dec 16, 2025

Code injection in HPE OneView before 11.00 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through an unauthenticated REST request. The /rest/id-pools/executeCommand endpoint accepts a JSON cmd value without authentication and passes it to Runtime.getRuntime().exec. Any network client that can reach an appliance with the ID Pools endpoint enabled can run commands as the trm3 service account; some VM editions disable the endpoint.
