Authenticated arbitrary file read via CLI
Published Sep 16, 2025 · Updated Sep 16, 2025
File disclosure in EdgeConnect SD-WAN Gateway 9.4.0.0 through 9.4.3.7 and 9.5.0.0 through 9.5.3.6 allows remote authenticated users to read files. HPE has not published which CLI binary accepts the attacker-controlled path or how it bypasses intended file-access restrictions. A valid CLI account is required, and exploitation exposes sensitive data from the appliance filesystem without reported modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
