CVE-2025-3713Network attack vector

Unauthenticated configuration tampering and crash via POST parsing

Published May 9, 2025 · Updated May 28, 2025

Heap-based buffer overflow in ATEN CL5708IM before 2.2.215 allows remote attackers to alter configuration or crash it via HTTP POST requests. The HTTP POST-content parser writes beyond a heap buffer or overwrites control structures when processing crafted request content. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation either changes device configuration data or interrupts service by crashing the appliance.
