CVE-2025-37129

Authenticated command execution via built-in scripts

Published Sep 16, 2025 · Updated Sep 16, 2025

Command injection in HPE EdgeConnect SD-WAN Gateway 9.4.0.0 through 9.4.3.7 and 9.5.0.0 through 9.5.3.6 allows local users to run OS commands. The CLI exposes built-in script execution without security controls that prevent an administrator from reaching the underlying operating system; HPE has not named the responsible command or validation path. Exploitation requires local high-privilege access and an enabled Scripts feature; successful commands can read, alter, or interrupt the gateway.
