Root command execution via authenticated CLI injection
Published Sep 16, 2025 · Updated Sep 16, 2025
Command injection in the HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN Gateway CLI allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. HPE identifies the CLI as the affected locus but has not published the command, parameter, or input-handling error that permits injection. An authenticated CLI session is required; successful exploitation grants root control in versions 9.4.0.0 through 9.4.3.7 and 9.5.0.0 through 9.5.3.6.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
