Authentication bypass in HPE AutoPass License Server before 9.18 allows remote attackers to access its web service without credentials. The TCP port 5814 web service makes its authorization decision from a non-canonical URL, allowing an alternate URL form to evade the authentication check. Authentication is not required, and HPE has not disclosed which protected web-service operations become accessible after the bypass.
