Authentication bypass in HPE StoreOnce Software before 4.3.11 allows remote attackers to obtain unauthorized system access over the network. The machineAccountCheck method implements its authentication algorithm incorrectly, allowing requests to pass without valid credentials. No credentials or user interaction are required, and successful bypass exposes the appliance’s authenticated functions to attacker control.
