CVE-2025-37087Network attack vector

Unauthenticated arbitrary file access through cmdb service

Published Apr 22, 2025 · Updated May 7, 2025

Missing authorization in the HPE Performance Cluster Manager cmdb service through 1.12 allows remote attackers to access arbitrary server files. HPE has not disclosed which cmdb request lacks authorization or how attacker-controlled input selects the file. Network access to the service is sufficient; the record reports no authentication or user-interaction gate, and file access is the bounded impact.
