Remote service interruption via incorrect buffer bounds
Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025
Buffer overflow in the Exynos-SLSI kernel component in Google Android allows remote authenticated users to interrupt device service. The SwDcpItg function in up_L2commonPdcpSecurity.cpp applies an incorrect bounds check during a buffer copy, allowing the copy to exceed its destination. Low privileges are required, no user interaction is needed, and the published impact is limited to loss of availability rather than data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
