Authenticated arbitrary file read via decoded path traversal
Published Apr 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Path traversal in the /show image handler in Felix Luo oasys 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. ProcedureController.image URL-decodes the request URI, removes the /show prefix, and passes the remaining path to file input and response output streams without canonicalization or a directory-boundary check. Low-privilege authentication is required; exploitation discloses files readable by the service account, with no reported write or service-interruption impact.
