Brute-force limit bypass via password-reset oracle
Published Sep 10, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025
Brute-force protection in SolaX Cloud before 27 June 2025 allows remote attackers to evade login-attempt clipping via password reset. The Forgot Password workflow acts as an authentication oracle that permits repeated credential testing outside the login attempt limit. No prior privileges or user interaction are required; exploitation depends on guessing a valid credential, after which the associated cloud account becomes accessible.
