Unauthenticated Setting Center access via backup credentials
Published Dec 13, 2025 · Updated Dec 13, 2025
Hard-coded credentials in Growatt ShineLan-X 3.6.0.0 through 3.6.0.2 allow remote attackers on an adjacent network to access the Setting Center. An undocumented backup account accepts undocumented credentials and grants significant device access through the local configuration interface. No prior access or user interaction is required, but adjacent-network reachability is required; the published record does not identify the account name, credential values, or authentication handler.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
