CVE-2025-36727Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Code execution via unverified installer download

Published Jul 25, 2025 · Updated Jul 25, 2025

Code execution in SimpleHelp before 5.5.12 allows context-dependent attackers to run arbitrary programs through an unverified download. The support and technician launchers fetch an offline executable from the configured server and run it without authenticating its source. Exploitation requires a user to run a launcher and, for this flaw alone, a man-in-the-middle position against unencrypted client requests.
