CVE-2025-36632

SYSTEM code execution via undisclosed permission flaw

Published Jun 16, 2025 · Updated Jun 16, 2025

Local privilege escalation in Tenable Agent before 10.8.5 on Windows allows local users to execute code with SYSTEM privileges. Tenable classifies the issue as incorrect default permissions but has not published the affected file, service, or permission operation that makes attacker-controlled code executable. A non-administrative local account is required; successful exploitation grants complete SYSTEM-level control of the host.
