OS command injection in Dell Unity before 5.5.1 allows local users with authenticated shell access to execute operating system commands as root. Dell identifies svc_nfssupport as the vulnerable utility but has not published which argument reaches a command interpreter or how input neutralization fails. A low-privileged restricted-shell session is required; exploitation escapes that shell and grants unrestricted root-level command execution.
