Unauthenticated command execution via raw request URI
Published Aug 4, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
OS command injection in Dell Unity before 5.5.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through an unauthenticated HTTP request. AccessTool.pm's getCASURL appends the raw request URI to a shell command and executes it with Perl backticks during login redirection. The requested resource must resolve and the request must omit the expected authentication cookie; successful exploitation runs attacker-selected operating system commands.
